A well-organised event will leave everyone smiling
What do you do if new riders turn up? How do you record a risk assessment? What is the situation if a young person turns up to do a ride? All these questions can be answered by consulting CTC's resources for ride and event organisers.

In this section, you will find documents relating to the guidance CTC issues to ride and event organisers in order to comply with insurance requirements. One section is for forms and the other for policies.

Charity rides

Charity rides are increasingly popular. CTC has a useful guide to how to prepare for your first charity ride.

For information on protecting event organisers, ride leaders and individual riders against claims made against them, see our section on insurance.

We have recently produced a Social Media Toolkit for cycling groups, in conjunction with Allianz Insurance. It can be found below.
