Local cycling projects

CTC is passionate about the positive difference cycling makes to individuals and communities. Through our network of local cycling development officers and Member Groups, we encourage and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the joys and benefits of cycling.

Community Cycle Club

Play on Pedals is a partnership between CTC, Cycling Scotland, The Bike Station Glasgow and Play Scotland. It will give every four-year old in Glasgow the chance to learn to ride a bike before they start school.
Belles on Bikes logo
Belles on Bikes aims to support women to get cycling together in a friendly and relaxed environment. There are groups across Scotland.
Big Bike Revival logo
The Big Bike Revival is two fun weeks of family-friendly events taking place at bike recycling centres across the country from 23 May to 7 June 2015. It’s all designed to help you get that unloved bike back into use, learn how to look after it for yourself and rediscover how much fun cycling can be.
Following the success of the £4 million BIG Lottery funded Cycle Champions programme which concluded in March 2012, CTC will continue to work with health professionals and partner organisations to ensure that the 57,000 lives touched by the programme has a lasting legacy.
