Go-MTB Skill Awards
Go MTB has five levels, each split into four parts based on progressive stages:
1. Riding skills
Develop good riding practice with Level 1, including starting, stopping, and being comfortable and safe right through to jumps, line choice and pumping at Level 5.
Each level increases your confidence, ability and practice.
2. Sharing the outdoors
Appreciating the environment we use when we ride - how we consider others, our impacts and what our rights and responsibilities are in the outdoors.
3. First aid
Learn what to do if someone has an injury, and how to help make the area and other people safe.
4. Being independent and self-supporting
Covering eating, drinking, trailside maintenance, where to go and what to wear and carry with you.

How do I get to take part?
Find your nearest CTC qualified Leader. There are thousands of them, so ask around if anyone you already know is one. Ask teachers, youth workers, group leaders or anyone you know who is into mountain biking. If you don't know any Leaders, you can seek out one of CTC's Skill Partners.
Ultimately, if you can't find anyone, contact us and we will see if we can put you in touch with some local providers.
