CTC works in partnership with centres across the UK to give access to cycling to people of all-abilities. Dave Glover has started work at the new Edinburgh ABC (All-ability Bike Centre) and he explains how the centre is already helping many people to enjoy cycling.

It’s been a busy few weeks catching up with all the Glasgow Peer Mentors, finding out who braved the weather on their bikes and who chose to hibernate over Christmas and New Year. Everyone was dead keen to get stuck back into some training and move forward with Bike Club.

CTC’s Assistant Head of Development in Scotland loves a festival - the mud, the camping and the avoidance of washing - so this year she’s managed to get involved with organising two. One of them, the Glasgow Cycle Festival, kicks off this Friday with a leisurely bike ride to the WEST brewery!

Social justice and cycling - notes from the Youth Bike Summit in New York

As I was in the right city at the right time, I spent a snowy Saturday in February at the Youth Bike Summit in New York. I was delighted by the spark of the conference and by the huge show of projects and people – 484 people from 25 states, apparently.
