Project Objectives

Community Cycle Club

CTC has evidenced that cycling can play a major role to address the impact of social, economic and health inequalities across the United Kingdom. CTC believes that to get more people cycling across the UK there is need to deliver tailored projects that can introduce cycling to communities across geographical regions in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

A Community Cycle Club represents a group of people who organise and participate in a regular cycling activity for the benefit of their existing members or as a service to the wider community.  The cycling activity can be on-road, off-road, cycle maintenance or even arts based.  The group of people may already meet for reasons specific to their local needs e.g. a youth support group, or have formed as a result of their desire to establish a regular cycling activity for benefit of the local community.
